The opalescent rainbow from the window of my car. I took the picture

and while I was running
I thought
this is
life,
this is a throb of
life,
inside of me
there is
life.

Tense muscles
to death.

Broken breath.

Drawn face.

I was running, yes.
I was life, yes.

but still
I did not know,
I did not understand,
where I was going.

But still
in the morning,
I did not know which direction to take.

A paralyzing mess
suspended between the mist and the crystal.

And yes
I was running
and while I was running
I thought
inside of me
there is
life.
Still.
