When doing something scaring you mean you are not Macbeth

I’ve been attending this ninja writers challenges course, via e-mail. (Thank you Shaunta).

Day by day you are supposed to face some labeled challenges to keep you focused and proactive as a writer.

Well, writers tend to be introvert and being pushed to show up is really thrilling.

On day 10 the challenge assignment was about starting an email list, giving you tips on how to start building it (I mean, which are the first people you can come easily in) and which tools you can use to reach your goal (e.g. mailchimp).

I followed the indications.

It has been hard because this challenge meant to show up the world your words. I mean, in doing a mailing list you know exactly what your readers will be. Until you serf the web, you preserve your proud feeling of being hidden. Those people in your mailing list knew you, at a different level. So, in short, you are ready to show the world your “baby”. Believe me the effect is amazing!

Accomplishing this challenge was on my priorities does list of the day.

As instrumental music, those syllables meaning my goal, have been playing until I came to one of my friend house. While I was waiting for her, I knew I was ready. I knew it was time.

I picked up my mobile and scrolled my whatsapp agenda and targeted my join-to-my-mailing list-friend.

I texted each of them a personal message.

I sent them.

And guess what?

It worked.

I felt my heart pumping my blood in each vein of my body.

I felt thrilled and breath-taken.

I was happy.

I got it.

I won my fear of being seen.

I was on my way of success because to get to the top you have to overcome yourself.
