On my way back,

I thought: “I want to stay here”,

within hills and peace

olive trees and love.

and let my eyes perching

and blossoming

into ever-widening circles.

While the road, gray and white, was snaking

and the day culminating

into a torched sky

by a dying sun — for fun,

I thought:

“I want to stay here,

at home”.
