on the birth of my “second creature”
Carol Ann Duffy says poetry is “music of being human”.
I thought to create, then, a collection to gather together all my “scores”.
Every day I choose to be human by listening to the song that my soul is singing.
Sometimes, the song is a chant on motherhood and love.
Often, it is about hope and struggling and wising up.
Seldom, about letting down.
This little book aims to heal a soul by infusing a sense of recognition and belonging while reading.
